Favorite Pose: Dancer—I love the symbolism, the feel of the pose in that you must be so grounded and balanced for full expression, and that my brother Stephen also loves this pose.
Bio: I am a certified and registered yoga teacher and certified yoga therapist. I teach flow yoga informed by vinyasa and power yoga traditions. My classes combine yoga and mindfulness philosophy with movement and self-study. My day job is being a Professor at the University at Buffalo and a Psychologist. I am a co-founder of Yogis in Service, a Buffalo-based non-profit that provides access to yoga in hospitals, community/neighborhood centers, prisons, and with veterans.
